17.4 Pounds of Cigarette Butts to be Recycled

The Huntington Beach Chapter shipped 17.4 pounds of cigarette butts to the recycler today. That means in the last 2 weeks, they have shipped over 36 pounds of ciggy butts, which translates to somewhere near 40,000 butts that will never get washed into the storm drain system and flushed out to our SoCal beaches.
